Overview: Stuart Communications is seeking a dynamic and experienced Creative Director to lead our creative team. As the Creative Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all creative aspects of our projects and ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with our clients' needs and brand standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of creative professionals including designers, copywriters, and artists.
- Develop creative strategies and innovative concepts that meet client objectives.
- Collaborate closely with account managers, strategists, and clients to understand project goals and requirements.
- Direct brainstorming sessions and creative meetings to generate ideas and concepts.
- Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring high quality and consistency.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members to foster their professional growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to keep Stuart Communications at the forefront of creativity.
- Manage multiple projects from concept through completion, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Present creative concepts and strategies to clients in a clear and persuasive manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a creative leadership role, preferably in an agency environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative campaigns and projects across various mediums (digital, print, video, etc.).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
- Solid understanding of marketing principles and branding strategies.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to present and sell creative ideas effectively.
