Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams (design, engineering, marketing, and sales) to successfully execute product development from ideation to launch.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, meeting quality standards, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, product owners, and customers, to define product requirements and ensure expectations are met.
  • Timeline and Budget Oversight: Develop detailed project plans, define scope, allocate resources, and manage project budgets to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of products.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve roadblocks to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in product development processes, incorporating lessons learned to optimize future product initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet established standards and customer expectations.
  • Product Strategy Alignment: Ensure product projects are aligned with the company’s strategic goals and contribute to overall business growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in project management, ideally in product-focused roles (e.g., product management, product development).
  • Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of product development processes, from concept to launch, and familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to executives and stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex challenges and drive solutions.
  • Tools: Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, Microsoft Project).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Product Design, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification or similar project management certification.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience in consumer tech, software, or product-based industries.
  • Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and how they influence product development.
