We are seeking an experienced professional for the position of IP Backbone/Fixed Access in the telecommunications industry. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning and continuous improvement of our IP backbone and fixed access network infrastructure.


Skills required (must have):

•Telecom network knowledge: Routing/Switching, Radio, Load balancing/FW

•Cisco CCNA, CCNP certifications

•IP Backbone/fixed access – implementation mainly on Nokia routers (7750, 7705, SR12, SR7), IP/MPLS backbone – BGP, OSPF, ISIS Fixed access: implementation on OLT, MSAN, CPE, NRA equipment.


Responsibilities

•Manage and maintain the IP backbone network and fixed access systems.

•Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement necessary upgrades and enhancements.

•Conduct regular network audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

•Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external customers.


Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in telecommunications or a related field.

•Proven experience in managing and maintaining IP backbone and fixed access networks.

•Strong knowledge of routing protocols, switching technologies, and network security.

•Familiarity with network monitoring tools and systems.

•Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

•Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

•Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

•Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are preferred.

•You will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of applications for our European client.

•Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

•Work as part of an Agile team: volunteer for tasks, manage own priorities and

collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals.

•Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues effectively .

•Technical analysis, designing and implementation to secure high performance, available, compliant and maintainable solutions.

•Close cooperation with global customer teams.

•Assist in reaching client vision of delivering higher quality software.

•Proactively suggest improvements to existing functionalities.

•Assisting in development of technical documentation.

•Ensuring integrity and communication between different environment
