Performance Tester – SAP ECC & SAP Fiori


About The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Performance Tester with expertise in SAP ECC and SAP Fiori performance testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using LoadRunner, a good understanding of JMeter, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This role involves ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of SAP and other enterprise applications in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and execute performance testing strategies for SAP ECC and SAP Fiori applications.
  • Create and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter for various business scenarios.
  • Analyze performance bottlenecks, identify root causes.
  • Simulate user loads to test system performance, including response time, throughput, and scalability.
  • Conduct stress, load, and endurance testing to validate system behavior under peak conditions.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, developers, and SAP BASIS administrators to ensure seamless integration of performance tests.
  • Monitor SAP systems during tests using SAP tools (e.g., SAP Solution Manager, ST12, STAD, etc.) and other APM tools.
  • Provide detailed test results and performance metrics to project team.
  • Actively participate in defect triage discussions and recommend fixes for performance-related issues.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3 years of experience in performance testing, with a focus on SAP ECC and SAP Fiori applications.
  • Proficiency in creating performance test scripts and scenarios using LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, and Analysis modules).
  • Working knowledge of JMeter for additional testing requirements and comparisons.
  • Strong understanding of SAP architecture, workflows, and key performance areas.
  • Familiarity with SAP monitoring tools (SAP Solution Manager, ST12, STAD, and SAT).
  • Experience with database and middleware performance testing.
  • Ability to interpret test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in non-SAP performance testing for integrated systems.
  • Exposure to cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform).
  • Knowledge of additional APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
