Role Overview

As a Food Expert at Kookar, you’ll leverage your culinary expertise, knowledge of cuisines, and understanding of nutrition or food science to deliver a stellar customer experience. Your insights will play a critical role in ensuring the application delivers accurate, user-friendly, and culturally relevant food solutions. This role is ideal for professionals who are excited about blending their love for food with cutting-edge technology and are available to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact with customers and drive the onboarding process for new and existing customers/households
  • Manage and oversee the existing meal plans for various households, ensuring a consistent feedback loop to refine and enhance the plans based on client input and preferences
  • Provide expert advice on recipes, cooking techniques, flavor combinations, and ingredient usage.
  • Evaluate and refine AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the go-to expert on food and nutrition, bridging the gap between culinary knowledge and technology.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Culinary Arts (IHM or equivalent), Food Science, Home Science, or Nutrition.
  • Experience as a chef, food scientist, nutritionist, or in a related role.
  • Corporate experience, ideally with exposure to structured processes and professional environments.
  • Deep knowledge of global cuisines, regional cooking styles, and nutritional principles.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey culinary insights to cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred but not mandatory: Experience in food technology companies or food-tech startups.
  • Enthusiasm for technology and its applications in food innovation.
