BIG DATA ARCHITECT

Job Description

Overview

The Data Architect is responsible for the design and development of data cleanup/validation applications. They work with the Platform Support Lead and Research and Development team to frame solutions for data pipeline optimization. The Data Architect facilitates localization and data processing for related file formats. Management experience required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaboration with Platform Support Lead and Research and Development team framing solutions for data delivery pipeline optimization.

• Design and development of stand-alone applications for data cleanup, validation, and normalization including using ML/Cloud computing.

• Facilitating of localization or data processing coding for the related file formats.

• Additional duties as required.


Requirements

• Working knowledge of cross-platform integrations, general platforming principles, platform architecting including API.

• Cross platform solutions wireframing including Bespoke, Middleware Development.

• Advanced backend and client-side development knowledge with at least two of the following programming languages: Python, C#, C++, VBA, or Java.

• Willingness to work overtime if necessary.

• Remote, office, or hybrid work environment depending on specific position.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment.

• Quick learner.

• Problem-solver with a strong sense of initiative.

• Excellent written/oral communication skills in English.

• Leadership qualities including the ability to give/take feedback, recognition of when to delegate, and confidence.
