Job Overview: 

DoersTech is looking for a Senior Data Scientist with a specialization in Computer Vision to join our team. As a Computer Vision Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and deploying cutting-edge machine learning models for a variety of computer vision tasks. You will design and implement end-to-end pipelines, ensuring best practices in code quality, and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver actionable insights. 

  


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Develop and implement machine learning models for computer vision tasks, including image processing, object detection, object tracking, and video analysis. 
  • Design and build robust end-to-end pipelines for data collection, cleaning, and analysis to solve complex business problems. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into production environments. 
  • Perform data analysis and visualizations to uncover patterns and provide actionable insights for decision-making. 
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices in model deployment and integration. 
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in machine learning and computer vision technologies. 
  • Utilize cloud technologies and big data solutions (Kafka) where applicable to improve model performance and scalability. 
  • Ability to guide and mentor team members, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

 


Required Skills and Experience: 


  • 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in data science with a strong focus on computer vision.  
  • Expertise in Python, including data structures and algorithms (DSA).  
  • Proficient in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.  
  • Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.  
  • Strong understanding of ML and DL concepts, and their application in computer vision.  
  • Hands-on experience in core computer vision tasks such as:  
  • Object detection (e.g., YOLO, Faster R-CNN, SSD) 
  • Object tracking (e.g., SORT, Deep SORT, optical flow methods) 
  • Image segmentation (e.g., U-Net, Mask R-CNN) 
  • Image classification, feature extraction, and face recognition 
  • Video analysis, including motion detection, event detection, and frame-by-frame processing. 
  • Strong proficiency in image processing techniques such as filtering, thresholding, morphological operations, and image transformations. 
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets, annotating images, and creating datasets for training computer vision models. 
  • Strong understanding of model evaluation metrics for computer vision (e.g., IoU, mAP, precision, recall). 
  • Strong database knowledge and familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub.  
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker is an added advantage.  
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and big data technologies (Kafka) is a plus.  
  • Exposure to Edge Computing and deploying models on devices like Jetson or Raspberry Pi for real-time CV applications is a plus.
