JOB DESCRIPTION

Software Requirements:

  • Strong Expertise in PL/SQL programming and Oracle database management.
  • Strong Experience with Oracle 18c/19c and knowledge of Oracle Database features.
  • Familiarity with Oracle tools and utilities such as SQL*Plus, Data Pump, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
  • Strong understanding of database design, architecture, and normalization.
  • Proficient in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain database systems to meet business needs
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability and integrity
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database schemas that support application requirements
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database administration

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of database concepts and architecture
  • Ability to design and implement database systems to meet business needs
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience as an Oracle Database Developer.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems to meet business needs
  • Monitoring database performance and troubleshooting issues
  • Implementing backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability and integrity
  • Collaborating with development teams to design and implement database schemas that support application requirements
  • Staying current with industry trends and best practices in database administration

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong customer-focused approach
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing work environment.
