  • The Application Security Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise in application security solutions. This role involves collaborating with sales, product management, and clients to understand their security needs and requirements. Key responsibilities include delivering technical presentations, conducting product demonstrations, designing tailored security solutions, and responding to RFPs and RFIs. The Pre-Sales Engineer will act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through the evaluation and adoption of application security products and services. This position requires a strong understanding of security principles, application vulnerabilities, threat modeling, and secure development practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business benefits are essential. Experience with security tools, frameworks, and technologies, such as SAST, DAST, and WAF, is highly desired. The role may also involve occasional travel for client meetings and industry events.
