Server Patching Coordination Specialist

We are hiring Server Patching Coordination Specialist in Mumbai to join our team, supporting a global investment bank. Individual will be part of the Server deployment function of TIs-Patching & Currency Team. This function is responsible for deployment of security patches, OS upgrades and other critical application upgrades across the Enterprise servers. Responsibilities: • Candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating patching and remediation across Wintel and Linux servers. Candidate will work closely with system administrators and application owners to coordinate and deliver updates to resolve vulnerabilities. Candidate may be required to analyze vulnerabilities and ensure appropriate action is being taken against the server ensuring smooth patch delivery. Responsible for reporting results to clients and partner teams. • Regular and frequent communication through chat, e-mail or phone with the onshore team is required to update the status and seek additional information/clarification. • 3 or more years of Windows and/or Linux systems administration with deployment experience in large environments is preferred • Experience with Vulnerability Management patching • Strong reporting and Microsoft Suite skills • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Knowledge of BAC environment • Knowledge of Bladelogic/Tanium a plus • Experience working with system implementations following organizational processes • Flexible scheduling • Scripting knowledge a plus • Look for Innovation and automation opportunities in the existing Tools and also develop new methodologies. • Focus on Customer/Clients- Demonstrates sense of urgency for meeting SLAs. Earns business partner loyalty through Customer Service attitude, efficiency & accuracy. • Ability to take ownership of the assignments to ensure seamless service delivery.Requirements • Graduate in computer stream (BCA, BTECH, BE) • 6+ years-experience with 2-3 years of related vulnerability management exposure• Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience and good understanding of Vulnerability patching tools like BladeLogic, Tanium, SCCM, WSUS, Big Fix and others Desired skills • ITIL V4 Foundations certification • SRE Foundations
