To partner with us in this exciting journey and unlock new values for the business, we are looking for passionate professionals in the position of Head Refractory, Vedanta Jharsuguda.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: -

• Ability to ensure planning & execution of regular and shutdown Refractory maintenance jobs in Carbon, Cast house & Ladle Repair Shop
• Responsible for risk assessment of Refractory installations and mitigations plan for ensuring sustainable operations of Smelter
• Responsible for procurement of spares & consumables in coordination with SBU planner for smooth operation of Smelter
• Responsible for inventory management of spares, consumables & manufacturing cost control as per business plan target
• Responsible for contract management through service provider engagement and regular review
• Responsible for Refractory life improvement
• Responsible for skill development of team members and business partner employees

CRITERIA:

• 60% and above throughout the education
• B.E./B.Tech in Ceramic Engineering
• 15+ years of work experience in similar industry
• Strong knowledge about Refractory Material Quality and testing procedures and knowledge of inventory management and procurement planning
• Good Communication skills while dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong leadership skills coupled with a change management outlook to drive change across the organizational and ability to handle diversed teams
