Software Requirement Engineer

Job Description:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors or master’s in Engineering in the field of Electrical / Electronics & Communications Engineering or Computer science or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software requirements preferably for Automotive products
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze system requirements from stakeholders
- Abstract the system architecture to SW Features and breaking down to SW Requirements
- Create Software requirement specifications and continuous management of SW related requirements and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct requirements reviews with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure all requirements are traceable and verifiable.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to software requirements.
- Provide support for software architecture, design, implementation, testing and validation.
- Participate in project planning and scheduling.
- Communicate requirements to all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
What You Will Need:
Required:
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
Professional experiences in abstraction and analyzing of requirements and software design concepts
- Ability to develop and maintain requirements documentation.
- Experience with requirements traceability and verification.
- Ability to conduct requirements reviews and workshops.
- Experience with software and project management tools (Polarion, GIT, AUTOSAR etc.).
- Experience with software development, hardware design and schematics
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Strong understanding on ASPICE process
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience with risk management and mitigation.
- Strong technical writing skills and ability to provide technical guidance and support to team
- Experience with project planning and scheduling.
- Ability to ensure compliance with project goals and objectives.
- Ideally C/C++ knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage internal and external interfaces
- Tool- and process-oriented working methods
- Fluent in English
Preferred:
- Fundamentals in automotive SPICE (SWE1-6) and ISO26262
- Knowledge in Qi technology of the WPC, inductive systems, proximity detection, NFC, Diagnostics, Boot manager, Memory management
- Know How of electronics and reliable handling of schematics, oscilloscope, and multimeter
- Basic German language skills
