Position: Content Developer / Learning Designer & Developer

Duration: Full Time

Location: Gurugram, India

Job Summary:

Design, development, and production of instructor-led training materials and web-based learning solutions. Primary job responsibilities include collaborating with client instructional designers to develop course content.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Work with design teams to write and develop content for Web-based Training (WBT), and ILT (instructor-led training) courseware using interactive learning models and taking into account adult learning principles
  • Assist in creating design documents that specify learning objectives, learning strategies and learning materials design specifications
  • Write, develop and produce instructor-led training materials and web-based learning solutions, including collaborating with client subject matter experts to research, organize, and write course content (including SharePoint sites, simulations, and blended solutions)
  • Review courses for content errors and to ensure that all images and graphics accurately represent course content and are culturally suitable for the region of deployment
  • Participate in working sessions with clients and respond to feedback and incorporate into high-quality deliverables

Other responsibilities:

  • Receive developed content and localize/adapt it to create multiple versions, where required. In this instance you may be implementing both contextualization and language adaptations to the original assets
  • Assist in analysis of content for cultural sensitivity and region-specific examples including but not limited to units of measurements, imagery, colloquialisms, and/or tabus in a given location
  • Supports translations as required, including coordinating and managing content reviews and signoffs with stakeholders in the Localization team

Key Competencies:

  • Proven experience in learning creation: design, development, relevant authoring tools (e.g., Storyline, Rise, Vyond, SharePoint, Adobe or similar)
  • Proven experience writing for learning solutions
  • Experience applying information mapping design concepts to SharePoint, ILT, and WBT
  • Strategic mindset around content development; able to analyse existing materials and propose innovative solutions embracing new technologies (e.g., AI)
  • Self-directed with a demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines
  • Able to deal well with ambiguity and fast-paced change
  • Ability to establish priorities and handle multiple assignments concurrently with a minimum of direction in an evolving work environment
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills including being able to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms
  • Strong project and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities while interacting pleasantly and productively with others
  • Team player with a positive attitude, sense of urgency, and willingness to do whatever is needed to achieve project goals and requirements
