Role Description :
This is a full-time on-site role for an Animal Nutritionist at Nutrition NXT Private Limited in Hyderabad. The Animal Nutritionist will be responsible for tasks such as dietetics, nutritional counseling, weight management, and nutrition education for pets parents.
Qualifications :
- Graduation in Veterinary Science ( BVSc) & Masters (MVSc) in Animal Nutrition / Feed Technology
- 0-2 years of post-qualification experience
- Basic understanding of pet nutrition and dietary requirements for different species.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including veterinarians and operations staff.
- Attention to detail and a passion for pets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in formulating and developing balanced and wholesome pet food recipes based on scientific research and veterinary guidance.
- Collaborate with veterinary doctors and senior nutritionists to ensure all products meet the required nutritional standards and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct research on pet nutrition trends , nutraceuticals and pet gut microbiome
- Analyse feedback from customers and partners to refine formulations
- Support the quality assurance team by ensuring ingredient consistency and monitoring product quality.
- Stay updated on advancements in animal nutrition and contribute to the company’s knowledge base.
