BJS Home Delivery is an independently owned, family business based in Wednesbury with a mission to provide the best two-man home delivery service in the UK. All our Delivery Teams are extensively trained at our on-site Training Academy to provide excellent customer service as ambassadors of our retail clients’ brands. We are constantly improving our standard of service and striving to become the best in the industry.


Requirements:

  • Define and clearly articulate requirements (user stories and features) and acceptance criteria (use cases).
  • Assists in managing requirements and prioritization within the product backlog through: business value ROI, alignment with product strategy, and resource capacity.
  • Utilise effective communication skills to surface essential requirements information.
  • Own the product vision and product backlog. Manage requirements and prioritisation within the product backlog through business value ROI, alignment with product strategy, and resource capacity.
  • Coordinate with other product managers and business architects to ensure the cohesiveness of the overall user experience.
  • Stay current on competitive trends/threads and identify opportunities to beat market expectations.
  • Coach, mentor, and support other product analysts. Communicate effectively, manage conflict among team members, and remove impediments.
  • Assists with strategic planning, business capability, value stream, and business process representations needed to model current and target state views of the business.
  • Excellent Verbal and written skills.


Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

Under limited supervision:

  • Interact with business partners and/or its staff to gather and document information related to requirements and/or software testing.
  • Gather information from multiple sources and independently sorts medium to high complexity business issues to recommend appropriate direction.
  • Lead project activities through meeting facilitation, managing, project scope and communicating progress.
  • Analyse business processes and associate them to software deliverables.
  • Draft and review documentation in compliance with the BJS global development process.
  • Develop and/or maintain a business model that reflects current processes and business rules.
  • Provide and/or consolidate input to scoping and impact analysis for future deliverables.
  • Performs the role of scrum master for one or more teams, leading multiple, simultaneous initiatives of complex programs/release trains, while following RAPID / RAPID DevSecOps compliance requirements.
  • Facilitates sprint demos.
  • Tracks and communicates team velocity and sprint/release progress.
  • Demonstrates strong mediation and negotiation skills.
  • Applies QDM to their work and that of their scrum team and ART.


Skills / Knowledge / Experience Considered a Plus:

  • Past project in logistic domain is a plus.
