Job Description:

Vehicle Assembly as per Drawing & DMU related to electrical functioning, which would support the final program delivery, in order to achieve the production plan / proto plan with adherence to quality standards, cost targets, safety standards and effective resource utilization.

Job Responsibility:

-Pre-Delivery Inspection of Prototype vehicles

-Aggregate arrangement of parts/resources by coordination with store function

-Retro fitment and update of parts as per requirement

-Contribute in VAVE/ICR targets

-Contribute to Innovation/ patent filing

-Maintaining 5S level inside shop floor

-Contributing to Safety action meetings

-Production time booking of operatives

-Maintaining in process production cards of the vehicle

-Documentation for chassis number generation

-Manpower Planning

-Wiring harness layouts & Troubleshooting

-Coordination for parts arrangement as per BOM and ensuring proper integration on vehicle

-Timely delivery of quality prototype vehicle for validation

-Controlling the number of inspection points and reworks during Joint inspection

-Fitment & functional issues to be raised through proper system

Skills:

-Proficient in Electrical/ Electronic system architecture wrt HV electrical systems and EV vehicles

-Strong knowledge on Hardware Interfaces with electrical / components

-Good Knowledge of Electrical design tools

-Good Idea of CAN/ LIN protocol, EOL flashing, diagnostic tool, good to have hands on experience on these

-Automotive engineering knowledge along with strong Electrical\Electronics engineering knowledge.

-Conversant with MS Excel, MS Power point and PLM. Knowledge of SAP will be added advantage

-Knowledge of emission norms & commercial vehicle aggregates

-Good understanding of the product planning and new product development cycle / stages

-Knowledge about Commercial vehicles and overall automotive industry standards and regulations, applicable in India and globally

-Knowledge of engineering drgs, DMU & vehicle assembly process

Must have: Must be conversant with Microsoft tools & fundamental knowledge of vehicle aggregates.

Preferred to have: Knowledge of product development tools such as DFMEA and DFSS etc. for achieving the reliable and robust design.
