Patent Professionals

We are looking for talented patent professionals for our Drafting, Prosecution & Analytics Teams, having work experience of minimum 2 years


Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electronics and Telecommunication, Information Technology, Electrical or related field) or Science (Chemistry/Pharmacy/Biotechnology) is the basic requirement and registration as “patent agent” is preferred.


Role:

Patent Drafting - Talented patent agents with engineering and science degree to draft high-quality patent applications meeting the filing standards in India, US, EPO, and other jurisdictions; collaborate with inventors to understand inventions and develop patent strategies; advise clients on patent-related matters

Patent Prosecution - Analyzing prior art documents cited in Office action/FER, preparing response to Office actions/FER, conducting hearing before the IPO and assisting attorneys for Examiners’ interviews at USPTO/EPO, preparing notices of written statements/notices of oppositions/reply statements in pre and post-grant oppositions before the IPO, conducting hearings before the IPO in review, pre and post grant oppositions proceedings, preparing appeal/revocation documents and assisting counsels for conducting hearings before the concerned High Courts, assisting counsels on due diligence, claim construction and other matters related to patent litigation or transaction

Patent Analytics - Patent and NPL searches (novelty/inventive step, validity, clearance, infringement, portfolio, industry/technology) using paid and non-paid databases and tools; analyzing search results as per the project and clearly and succinctly communicating analysis to counsels and/or the clients, claim mapping and analysis for validity or infringement project, patent categorization and bucketing for transaction purposes, SEP analysis for standards such as LTE, 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), infringement/evidence of use searches.


Trademark/Copyright Lawyer


We are looking for talented lawyers for our Trademark/Copyright and IP litigation team, having work experience of minimum 2 years


Qualifications - LL.B / LL.M from a reputed law school and admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction with strong communication skills


Role - Providing legal counsel on IP issues (patents, trademarks, copyrights, etc.). Draft and negotiate IP agreements and contracts. Assist with patent and trademark applications and enforcement. Support IP litigation and manage disputes. Collaborate with internal teams on IP strategy, Searches and protection and ensure compliance with IP laws and regulations


IP Executive / Paralegal


We are looking for experience paralegals for our Patents & Trademark Team


Qualifications: Graduation in any stream is the basic requirement and having work experience of minimum of 3 years is preferred


Role:

Patent/TM Paralegal (India/Global Prosecution) - Preparation and online filing of patent & trademark applications, preparation of various Forms and Power of Attorney including forms for providing details of corresponding applications; monitoring and reporting of publications; reporting of first and other examination reports, filing of Response to Examination Reports, preparation and filing of other formal documents; monitoring and payment of annuities; preparation and filing of request for Recordal of Assignment, Licenses, change in name and addresses; preparation and filing of Request for Foreign Filing permission; preparation and filing of working statement; Preparing & filing PCT Applications and related documents; co-ordination with the foreign associate firms for filing National Entry or Conventional Applications in countries outside India; Reporting Office action and all other communications from the foreign Patent Offices to the client.
