What are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced hardcore Software Solution Architect to join our Technology Transformation team at a leading insurance company. This role is crucial for technical solution, architecting, design, developing large-scale digital applications in the insurance domain.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical solution implementation background, hands on software development and a proven track record in designing robust, scalable, cloud native and efficient large size software solutions. They should have architected and designed web, mobile application and Microservice base solution for Indian life Insurance.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Software architectural Leadership: Steer the architectural direction for digital applications, ensuring they meet business goals and adhere to industry standards.
  • Development Expertise: Utilize your extensive experience in front-end and back-end development to guide architectural decisions.
  • Microservices and Modular Components: Design and implement microservice-based modular architecture components, with a focus on high performance, scalability and maintainability.
  • System Integration: Manage the integration of both internal and external systems thru Open API, Event and microservice based API, ensuring effective data exchange across multiple systems and database.
  • Security and Performance: Uphold high standards in security and system performance, implementing the latest best practices.
  • Team Management: Lead a large technical team, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Database Design: Apply advanced knowledge in database design for efficient data management.
  • Web and Mobile Application Development: Expertise in developing PWAs, hybrid, and native mobile apps.
  • Cross-Platform Integration: Maintain knowledge of cross-application platforms for seamless system integration.
  • Insurance Industry Experience: Utilize your strong experience of Indian life /group insurance domain in technical solution design.
  • Cloud-Native Applications: Architect, design, and build cloud-native applications, ensuring they are optimized for the AWS and Google cloud environment.
  • Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of emerging technologies like AI/ML Chatbots, Business Rules Engines (BRE) and Gen AI, integrating them into solutions where appropriate.
  • India Stack Knowledge: Possess a good understanding of India Stack and its application in digital solutions.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: MTech/ME/BE/MCA
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 to 15 years of working experience in architecting large digital applications, with a solid background in software development including Cyber security.
  • Excellent in Java, React JS, Angular JS, Flutter, Node.js, Spring Boot, APIM, ESB, Kafka and RDS technologies including NoSQL.
  • Proficient in DevOps - CI/CD, Docker / Kubernetes / Jenkins / Terraform / Git
  • Experience in PWA, hybrid, and native mobile app development.
  • Knowledge of architectural and design patterns, and building microservices.
  • Strong understanding of security, data protection, and performance optimization.
  • 10+ years an experience in an Indian life insurance domain likes new business onboarding, servicing and policy life cycle management.
  • Leadership management experience in managing technical teams.
  • Experience with Chatbots and Business Rules Engines (BRE).
  • Excellent in AWS / Google cloud service implementation
