We’re building the next generation of data and integration capabilities that connect Brightedge with the world’s leading SaaS ecosystems — and we’re looking for a hands-on Integration Engineer to join our team.About the RoleAs an Integration Engineer, you’ll design, build, and maintain integrations between Brightedge’s platform and leading SaaS systems. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable integrations that power our global customer base.You’ll be responsible for the full integration lifecycle — from design and development to testing, deployment, and production support.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain API-based integrations between Brightedge and SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, NetSuite, Shopify, and others.Develop, test, and document REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines.Work with iPaaS platforms (Mulesoft, Workato, Tray.io, Boomi, or Celigo) and custom-built connectors to deliver reliable integrations.Implement authentication and authorization flows (OAuth2, JWT, API keys, etc.) and ensure data security in transit and at rest.Own the end-to-end integration lifecycle — from requirements, architecture, and development to deployment and post-release monitoring.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Customer Success) to define and maintain integration SLAs, logging, and monitoring standards.Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and API issues across environments.Contribute to internal integration playbooks, runbooks, and best practices documentation.Required Qualifications3–6 years of hands-on experience as an Integration Engineer, API Developer, or similar role in a SaaS or product company.Strong expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs and experience with OpenAPI/Swagger.Proven experience with SaaS integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, Zendesk, Shopify, etc.).Proficiency with one or more scripting/programming languages (Python, Node.js, or Java preferred).Strong understanding of API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, SSL, rate limiting).Experience with iPaaS / middleware tools like Workato, Boomi, Tray.io, or Mulesoft.Familiarity with asynchronous integration patterns (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, or Webhooks).Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Understanding of monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or similar).Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to own production incidents end-to-end.Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with GraphQL APIs or API Gateway platforms (Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway).Background in data mapping, ETL workflows, or integration architecture design.Experience contributing to API documentation, SDKs, or developer portals.Exposure to event-driven or microservices architectures.Work RequirementsThis is a remote role based in India.Mandatory: Must be available to work in US EST / PST business hours for collaboration with global teams.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with US-based stakeholders.Why BrightedgeWork on high-impact, global integrations that power enterprise-scale data products.Collaborative and fast-paced engineering culture with end-to-end ownership.Competitive compensation, flexible remote work, and exposure to cutting-edge SaaS ecosystems.
