Job Title: Non-Verbal Reasoning Teacher for 11+, GCSE, A Level, and AS Level

Sehyog Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Non-Verbal Reasoning Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in non-verbal reasoning, particularly focused on the 11+, GCSE, A Level, and AS Level curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that adhere to the 11+, GCSE, A Level, and AS Level curriculum requirements for non-verbal reasoning.
• Provide effective instruction in non-verbal reasoning, ensuring students understand and can apply key concepts.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enhance the overall educational experience for students.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance, and communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
• Stay updated on educational best practices, curriculum changes, and advancements in the field of non-verbal reasoning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching non-verbal reasoning at 11+, GCSE, A Level, and AS Level.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum requirements and assessment criteria for non-verbal reasoning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail in lesson planning, assessment, and record-keeping.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders to support student success.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a growth mindset in teaching practice.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching non-verbal reasoning in a secondary school setting.
• Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms for instruction and assessment.
• Participation in extracurricular activities or initiatives related to non-verbal reasoning, such as puzzle clubs, logic competitions, or brain training programs.
