Junior Designer - Fashion and Textile

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Designer with a passion for textiles, garment construction, and production management. As a key member of our design team, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our creative visions to life. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with in house design direction to develop seasonal designs.
  • Utilizing software tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, and Photoshop to create detailed sketches and digital renderings.
  • Monitar pattern making and overseeing production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Managing and maintaining stock levels, including inventory tracking and replenishment.
  • Assisting in the coordination of production schedules and communicating with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Contributing to brainstorming sessions and trend research to stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Processing orders as per the manufacturing efficiency on a weekly and monthly manner .


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or diploma degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of garment construction techniques and pattern making.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a design or production role within the fashion industry.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Passion for sustainability and ethical practices in fashion.
