Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Finance Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 4 years of experience, preferably in the construction or service industry. The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth and objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and budgets, conduct financial forecasting, and prepare detailed financial reports for executive management.
  • Accounting and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, oversee accounting functions, and manage the financial closing process.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, implement internal controls, and manage insurance and risk management programs.
  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies, advise on mergers and acquisitions, and optimize capital structure.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial statement preparation, manage budgeting and cash flow, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, coordinate audits, and implement internal controls.
  • Operational Efficiency: Develop procedures to enhance efficiency, monitor financial performance, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports, conduct analysis, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Miscellaneous: Stay updated with industry trends and regulations, collaborate with other departments, and manage various financial tasks.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the construction or service industry.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Income Tax, GST, and audit processes.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in financial software, and strong attention to detail.
  • Attributes: Strong leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
