Location: Remote

Time zone: 2 pm -10 pm


Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement SharePoint-based solutions, including custom web parts, workflows, lists, libraries, templates, and integrations.

2. Customize SharePoint sites and pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.

3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and propose effective SharePoint solutions.

4. Configure and maintain SharePoint sites, including permissions, user roles, and security settings.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint implementation, performance, and integration with other systems.

6. Provide technical guidance and support to end-users, including training sessions and documentation.

7. Stay updated on the latest SharePoint technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve SharePoint solutions and processes.

8. Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems and applications.

9. Participate in the planning and execution of SharePoint migration projects, upgrades, and enhancements.

10. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and governance standards related to SharePoint usage and development


Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer or similar role, with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SharePoint development and customization.

3. Proficiency in SharePoint technologies, including SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, SharePoint Designer, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).

4. Strong knowledge of web development languages and tools, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and REST API.

5. Experience in designing and developing SharePoint solutions using tools like Visual Studio, PowerShell, and SharePoint Designer.

6. Solid understanding of SharePoint architecture, features, and capabilities, including SharePoint site templates, content types, and search configuration.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to SharePoint implementation and integration.

8. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

10. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer Associate (preferred).
