ML/AI Engineer Computer Vision

We are seeking a talented and results-oriented Computer Vision ML/AI Engineer to join a growing AI team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in developing and deploying AI-powered solutions that address real-world business challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable data insights and build robust machine learning models.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement scalable computer vision algorithms: Utilize your expertise in object detection, pattern recognition, and image processing to design and build state-of-the-art computer vision solutions.
  • Data Pipeline Management: Contribute to the development and optimization of data pipelines for efficient data processing and model training.
  • Model Development & Optimization: Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), design, develop, and test machine learning models. Fine-tune and optimize existing models for improved efficiency and performance.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Actively collaborate with the AI team to ensure project success. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
  • Deliver Results: Deliver well-tested and robust computer vision modules that effectively address project requirements and meet deadlines.


Qualifications:

  • Experience:4+ years of industry experience in computer vision, object detection, machine learning, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Computer Vision Engineer, Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role.
  • Technical Skills:Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch (preferred), TensorFlow, or Keras.
  • Familiarity with CUDA, OpenCL, OpenGL, and OpenCV libraries.
  • Knowledge of text detection & OCR, human/face detection, generative models, video analytics, and model compression/optimization techniques.
  • Understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts (statistics, EDA, hypothesis testing, regression/classification, unsupervised learning, ensemble methods, evaluation techniques).
  • Experience with distributed training/inference frameworks (e.g., Spark).
  • Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, UNIX) and databases (MySQL).
