The ideal candidate will be passionate about building andmaintaining complex systems, with a holistic approach to architecture. You will playa key role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure, ensuringscalability, availability, security, and optimal performance. You will also providetechnical leadership and mentorship to other engineers, and engage with clients tounderstand their needs and deliver effective solutions.Responsibilities:o Design, architect, and implement scalable, highly available, and secureinfrastructure solutions, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).o Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform forenterprise-scale deployments.o Utilize Kubernetes deployment tools such as Helm/Kustomize forcontainer orchestration and management.o Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using platforms like GitHub,GitLab, Bitbucket, Cloud Build, Harness, etc., with a focus on rollingdeployments, canaries, and blue/green deployments.o Ensure auditability and observability of pipeline states.o Implement security best practices, audit, and compliancerequirements within the infrastructure.o Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to engineeringstaff.o Engage with clients to understand their technical and businessrequirements, and provide tailored solutions.o If needed, lead agile ceremonies and project planning, includingdeveloping agile boards and backlogs.o Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.o Potentially participate in pre-sales activities and provide technicalexpertise to sales teams.Qualifications:o 10+ years of experience in an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.o Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Amazon WebServices (AWS).o Proven ability to architect for scale, availability, and high-performanceworkloads.o Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.o Strong experience with Kubernetes and related tools (Helm, Kustomize).o Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.o Experience with security, audit, and compliance best practices.o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.o Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engagewith both technical and non-technical stakeholders.o Experience in technical leadership and mentoring.o Experience with client relationship management and project planning.Certifications:● Relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes Certified Administrator, Google CloudCertified Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud NetworkingCertifications, Google Cloud Security Certifications, etc.).● Software development experience (e.g., Terraform, Python).● Experience with machine learning infrastructure.Education:● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalentexperience
