Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Web Consultant located in the Greater Kolkata Area. As a Web Consultant, you will be responsible for providing web consultation services to clients, analyzing web analytics data, and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will also be involved in sales activities and collaborating with the web development and design teams to create effective online solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to conceptualize and design website layouts.
  • Create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces that enhance user experience.
  • Integrate various elements such as data, applications, images, videos, and plugins into the website.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and present website prototypes to stakeholders.
  • Incorporate feedback from end-users to refine and improve the website design.
  • Perform SEO optimization to enhance website visibility and search engine ranking.
  • Maintain the website through regular code reviews and Common Gateway Interface (CGI) checks.
  • Ensure website development projects are completed on time and within the allocated budget.
  • Oversee the live deployment of websites and continuously improve their performance.
  • Prepare progress updates and document the website development process.
  • Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in website design.


Qualifications

  • Consulting and Sales skills
  • Experience in web analytics and data analysis
  • Experience with web development using HTML, Java, React, Angular, Node.js, PHP, Ruby.
  • CMS - Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal
  • Experience in creating mockups, wireframes and prototypes
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Experience in the digital marketing industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field


The candidate should possess professional proficiency in the English language.

Candidate should be willing to work the evening and/or night shift catering to European and American customers.
