We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shopify Plus Software Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Shopify Plus Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Shopify Plus e-commerce solutions . The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Shopify Plus, Liquid, and a solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. The candidate should also have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex and innovative Shopify Plus projects.

Responsibilities:

·       As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will translate requirements into technical development, design schemas, and integrate with content management solutions and search engines, unlocking the business value of new technologies.

  • Acting as a Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the eCommerce platform
  • Collaborating with the UX and UI design teams to produce seamless, robust, and innovative front-end user experiences
  • Generating custom-tailored Shopify themes, and altering pre-existing templates
  • Working closely with project managers to address client requests
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to address their specific needs and requirements at a moment's notice
  • Understanding business needs that drive project features & functions and provide internal consultation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand project requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Shopify Plus e-commerce websites, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
  • Customize and extend the functionality of Shopify Plus using Liquid and other relevant technologies.
  • Work on complex projects, providing technical expertise and innovative solutions to meet project goals.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and visually appealing web pages.
  • Integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance Shopify Plus capabilities.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure best practices, code quality, and security standards are maintained.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify Plus implementations.

·       Develop a great Digital Consumer experience based on a foundation of Shopify.

·       Assist with code reviews and pull requests.

·       Diagnose and solve technical problems related to commerce implementation.

·       Define best practices to implement non-functional requirements like performance and scalability of the e-commerce solution.

  • As Senior specialist, mentor, and train Junior/Middle developers


Requirements:


  • 5+ years of relevant experience in working with Shopify and Shopify Plus stores


  • Experience with system and integration architecture


  • Good knowledge of frontend development, liquid programming language, theme customization


  • Exp JavaScript (jQuery), XML, JSON, SQL, PHP, CSS3, HTML5


  • Experience in handling checkout functionality customizations


  • Experience in implementing headless commerce projects with Shopify


  • Strong hands to Install & Customize new Shopify theme


  • Experience in integrating external APIs - Experience in 3rd party integrations like ERP- NetSuite, SAP, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Epicor etc.


  • Experience in Implementing Shopify Ajax API, Admin APIs and configuring third party apps


  • Knowledge of building custom, private and embedded apps


  • Experience working with the following technologies: Good to have experience in ReactJS, NodeJS



Preferred


  • Certifications are a plus

Experience working in a professional services firm or working in a client service environment
