A Power BI Developer(2+ years of Experience | Location: Navi Mumbai) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and a deep understanding of Power BI capabilities. You will work closely with stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.


Responsibilities

Data Integration and Modelling

  • Design and develop complex data models using Power BI.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query or other tools.

Report and Dashboard Development

  • Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
  • Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to create custom calculations and measures.
  • Develop and implement Power BI reports, dashboards, and scorecards.

Collaboration and Consultation

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they leverage Power BI tools effectively.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers, and other IT professionals to optimize data solutions.

Performance Optimization

  • Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and speed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data and performance-related issues.
  • Implement best practices for data visualization and report development.

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure data security and compliance with organizational and industry standards.
  • Implement and manage security roles and permissions within Power BI.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role in business intelligence or data analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.


Preferred Skills

  • Certifications in Power BI or Microsoft data solutions.
