Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a SAP FICO Consultant. The SAP FICO Consultant will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks, including analyzing business processes, implementing SAP FICO solutions, providing financial expertise, and supporting the finance team. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of business processes and financial concepts
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex problems
  • Experience in finance, including financial reporting and analysis
  • Knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely


This position requires 3 – 5 years of SAP configuration and implementation experience.


SMEs, primarily in the SAP FICO module, specifically General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Bank Accounting (FI-BL), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Cost Elements, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, and Statistical Key Figures are necessary.


• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO Controlling – Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment and settlement.)

• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements

• Knowledge of the key integration points with all SAP modules and key design implications is required.

• Identify gaps, and issues and work around solutions

*Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.

*Document functional designs, test cases and results.

*Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.

*Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects

* Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.

*Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, SD and PS Strong organizational skills and initiative to improve processes are crucial.

*The ability to identify complex problems, review information to develop and evaluate options then implement solutions is essential.

*Also, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.

*Will be a point of contact for the client and manage the client's expectations.

*The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor, and work well independently is essential.

*Proven ability to collaborate across the Company including the ability to manage and respond to different organizational situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is essential
