Title: Pre Sales SME – Cyber Security

Role: Solutioning and Presales - Cyber Security

About the Role

Overview:

In this role, you will work with cutting edge technology (SASE). Your role would be helping customers and partners understand security capabilities of SASE offerings and working on various aspects ensuring product meets the customer and market demand by acting as SME of security.


Responsibilities

Provide technical pre-sales support to various entities for the purpose of promoting and selling products/services. Entities include potential customers, existing customers, partners, and resellers. Pre-sales activities will also include close interaction with internal groups such as product management, marketing, R&D and post-sales support

Research of market trend, competitors’ product and provide feedback to engineering team ensuring product meets the market and customer demand

Understand the customer requirement and propose architecture with the help of engineering team

Own the POC including troubleshooting, stakeholder management, documentation etc.

Work with sales and marketing team for 3i SASE product awareness

Prepare value proposition and ROI based deck for customer

Deliver technical presentations tailored for technical and non-technical audiences ranging from DLP admins to executive and C-Level.

Deliver consistent product training, technology updates, release updates, and roadmap information

Product Demonstration - Present to customers as an expert of our SASE platform

Extensive UAT of the 3i platform and ensure product is working as expected

Work on webinars, content etc for product awareness

Engage with potential customers to understand their business and technical requirements.

Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof of concepts (POCs) for SASE and SOC solutions.

Respond to RFPs/RFIs and create detailed technical proposals.

Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for clients and partners.

Collaborate with sales teams to develop account strategies and drive sales opportunities.

Architect and design SASE and SOC solutions tailored to customer needs.

Provide technical expertise on network security, cloud security, zero trust, and managed SOC services.

Ensure proposed solutions align with industry standards and best practices.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in customer organizations.

Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on their security transformation journey.

Provide post-sales technical support and ensure smooth handover to implementation and support teams.

Lead and mentor a team engineers and technical specialists.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

Stay updated on the latest SASE and SOC technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape.



Requirements

  • Must have hands-on experience for DLP, CASB, SIEM, XDR, Web proxies and Threat management technologies
  • Must have hands-on experience on products like Zscaler (ZIA and ZPA), Netskope, Paloalto Prisma, Cisco Umbrella and Cisco SIG etc.
  • Prior experience and Demonstrable execution in sales enablement, customer enablement or customer success, technical product training, producing technical collaterals, and presenting to customers
  • Should have expertise in responding to RFPs and RFIs

Good understanding cloud native security

  • Should have research capability, can understand the security solution architecture, and document the product capabilities
  • Strong technical and market familiarity with SASE and cybersecurity technologies, the competitive landscape, and the market direction
  • Understanding of customer use cases
