Position Summary:


The Wedding Film Editor will play a crucial role in transforming raw wedding footage into captivating and emotional films. This role requires a creative mindset, strong technical skills, and an understanding of storytelling to craft unique and memorable wedding videos. The Wedding Film Editor will work closely with our videographers, cinematographers, and clients to produce exceptional final products.



Key Responsibilities:


  1. Edit raw footage from weddings to create cohesive and emotionally engaging wedding films
  2. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each couple's unique story and translate it into a visually compelling narrative through video editing.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software and technology to improve editing techniques and workflow efficiency.
  4. Ensure all final edits meet the company's quality standards and maintain consistency in style and branding.



Qualifications:


1. Proven experience as a film editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing wedding or event video editing work. (minimum 2 years experience)

2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

3. Strong understanding of video and audio post-production techniques, including color grading and audio syncing.

4. Strong Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is a plus

5.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

6. Strong Portfolio to showcase



Preferred Qualifications:


1. Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field.
