POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Cloud Security Architect, you will shape the security of our enterprise cloud environments and cloud connected products. You will have opportunities to work collaboratively with architects in varying specializations to build secure, high performing systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works directly with product architects to integrate robust design patterns into all facets of the product suite
  • Aligns application security capabilities with the long-term strategic vision of the product line
  • Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements, information security standards, vulnerability analyses, and risk assessments
  • Participates in product proof-of-concept workshops and innovation research to establish robust application architectures with strong embedded security
  • Collaborates with application and infrastructure architects to design full stack security controls for diverse hybrid and multi-cloud environments to support product deployments
  • Creation and evolution of could security standards
  • Creation and evolution of Kubernetes security standards
  • Help develop cloud security technical roadmaps to drive constant cyber transformation and improvements our defensive posture
  • Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards
  • Performs other duties and project as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A passion for building secure products
  • Strong foundation across the Amazon AWS technology stack
  • An understanding of multi-account/multi-cloud network routing and related security controls (e.g., transit gateway, etc.)
  • Experience designing and operating the various security tooling native to AWS (CloudTrail, Security Hub, GuardDuty, etc.)
  • Experience in automation for security controls, review of baseline cloud security architecture, and implementation of AWS native services.
  • Excellent and professional communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner

  • Understanding of different compliance frameworks and their implications in securing cloud environments
  • Single Tenant and multi-tenant SaaS design pattern knowledge
