Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology - Roorkee. The Junior Research Fellow will be responsible for conducting research related tasks for a DST-SERB sponsored project titled "Wear behaviour of carbide free bainitic steel". This may include literature review, data collection, data analysis, report and paper writing. The role requires active participation in research activities, attending seminars, and collaborating with team members.


Qualifications

  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of data collection and analysis methods
  • Proficiency in scientific writing and report preparation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering etc
  • The candidate should be GATE qualified
