About Us:

TreeTag is a pioneering platform dedicated to enhancing transparency in afforestation projects through advanced geo-tagging and digital tracking. We’re committed to sustainable development, with a focus on engaging communities and promoting environmental stewardship.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager who is passionate about sustainability and ready to lead impactful projects across India. This role is crucial in overseeing the successful deployment of our initiatives, managing on-ground teams, and driving community engagement to support our mission for a greener planet.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities

  • Set project timeline
  • Monitor project deliverables
  • Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
  • Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them.

Lead, manage, and execute sustainability-focused projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Oversee field projects, coordinating and deploying teams effectively to maximize project success.

Engage with community stakeholders, fostering strong relationships to support TreeTag’s sustainability goals.

Conduct public presentations and represent TreeTag at events, meetings, and community outreach programs.

Monitor project operations, track progress, and report regularly on project milestones and outcomes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, community outreach, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications

Education: BTech/ BCA/ B.Com /MSW/ BSc / MSc Environmental Science

*Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Project Management, Community Management, Operations, ideally within sustainability or a related field.

*Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English, Malayalam, Hindi, and Tamil.

*Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel extensively across India to manage on-site projects and lead teams in various regions.

*Strong business acumen in project planning and management

*Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

*Project & Community Management: Strong leadership and project management skills, with a hands-on approach to driving results.

*Public Speaking & Engagement: Excellent community engagement and public speaking abilities to connect with diverse audiences.

*Sustainability Focus: Passionate about sustainability and environmental conservation.

*Digital Tools Proficiency: Skilled in Excel, Canva, Asana, Notion and Slack for efficient project tracking, collaboration, and reporting.

*Adaptability: Ability to work in dynamic environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
