Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer Experience: 5-10 years Responsibilities:


1. Cloud Platform Expertise:

- Extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, and IAM.

2. DNS Management:

- Proficient in managing DNS across various providers, like Cloudflare, Cloud DNS, Namecheap, GoDaddy, and Sectigo.

3. Networking Mastery:

- Deep understanding of networking concepts, VPC, subnets, load balancing, and configuring networking components.

4. Infrastructure as Code:

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager for scalable and automated infrastructure provisioning.

5. Version Control and Collaboration:

- Expertise in version control systems, especially GitHub. Collaborate effectively with development teams.

6. CI/CD Pipeline:

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring efficient and automated software delivery.

7. Configuration Management:

- Proficient in configuration management tools such as Ansible for automated and consistent infrastructure configuration.

8. Monitoring and Alerting:

- Implement monitoring solutions using Grafana with Prometheus for real-time visibility into system performance. Configure alerts for proactive issue resolution.

9. VPN and Security:

- Configure and manage VPN tools, including OpenVPN. Implement security best practices and utilize HashiCorp Vault for secret management.

10. Database Expertise:

- Experience with various databases, including MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Cloud SQL. Ensure optimal performance and reliability.

11. Logging and Analytics:

- Proficient in utilizing logging tools like Papertrail for centralized log management. Implement strategies for effective log analysis.

12. Collaboration Tools:

- Work with collaboration tools such as Jira for issue tracking and project management.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with 5-10 years in cloud environments.

- GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification is a plus.

- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
