About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, proficiency in Dremio, SQL, and Tableau, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions. This role will involve working closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain robust data solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Data Integration and Management:
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Dremio.
  • Integrate various data sources to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Manage and optimize databases to support data warehousing and analytics.


  • SQL Development:
  • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Perform query optimization to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with database administrators to ensure optimal performance of SQL databases.


  • Data Visualization and Reporting:
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure data visualizations are user-friendly, accurate, and provide actionable insights.


  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on data tools and dashboards.


  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and data visualization.
  • Propose and implement best practices for data management, security, and governance.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.


Required Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.


  • Certifications:
  • Dremio certification will be plus.
  • SQL certification (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle SQL) will be plus.
  • Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Desktop Certified Professional) will be plus.


  • Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience with Dremio for data integration and management.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and query optimization.
  • Extensive experience with Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
  • Knowledge of other data tools and technologies (e.g., Python, R, ETL tools) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is advantageous.
