About the Role:We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer with extensivehands on experience in architecting, implementing, and managing AWS-basedinfrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of building secure,scalable, and high-availability cloud environments, and will be comfortable working acrossnetworking, compute, storage, monitoring, security, and automation with a provenexperience in leading a DevOps team.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to design, implement, and manageAWS infrastructure to meet high-availability and performance requirements.Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code tools.Ensure cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization across AWS services. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application and infrastructure performance. Work closely with development, QA, and Operations teams to enable efficient CI/CDpipelines, cloud-native application deployments, and system reliability.Implement best practices for backup, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance.Maintain staging and production environments with security controls (e.g., Sophos) applied as required.Required Skills & Experience:Core AWS Infrastructure & Networking• VPC, VPC Endpoints, VPC Links, Site-to-Site VPN• Route 53 (DNS management, routing policies)• Elastic Load Balancing, CloudFront (CDN)Compute & Container Services• EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, EKS, ECR, Lambda• Amplify (deployment and hosting)Storage & Databases• S3, RDS, DynamoDB, QLDB, Backup servicesAPI & Event Services• API Gateway (REST and HTTP), AppSync• EventBridge, SQS, SNS, SESSecurity, Compliance & IAM• ACM, Cognito, Verified Permissions, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store • WAF, Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config, Macie, InspectorMonitoring & Logging• CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SentryAI/ML & Data Services• Amazon TextractOther Tools & Requirements:• Experience with SSM for system management.• Familiarity with Sophos for staging/production environments.• Strong knowledge of AWS Billing and cost optimization strategies.• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, orCDK). • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).• Experience in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline).Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).• 8+ years of professional experience in DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure roles, with at least 5 years focused on AWS.• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent experience
