Job Title - Sales Executive


Role Definition - The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales performance, managing dealer relationships, and ensuring smooth operations for Gretex Industries Ltd. in the Kolkata region. This includes the sales of Musical Instruments, Audio/Video Equipment, and FMCG Products. The role is focused on achieving sales targets, ensuring dealer satisfaction, coordinating stock requirements, and forecasting material needs while addressing market trends and challenges.


Tasks & Activities :-

 

1. Professional Audio Equipment Sales: Identify prospective customers and new dealer accounts for professional audio equipment.

 

o  Research the market for new leads and industry trends.

o  Approach new dealers through cold calling, emails, and social media outreach.

o  Schedule face-to-face meetings with prospective clients and demonstrate product features.

o  Maintain regular follow-up on quotations, proposals, and deals.

o  Close at least 10 deals monthly by following up on leads and negotiating terms.

 

2. Dealer Visits & Calls : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new dealers.

 

o  Plan weekly dealer visits to assess needs and provide product support.

o  Set clear goals for each dealer visit (e.g., upselling, addressing concerns, and gathering feedback).

o  Perform follow-up calls post-visit to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and maintain rapport.

o  Regularly track dealer satisfaction using a feedback form and act on areas for improvement.

 

3. Weekly Stock Requirement: Ensure adequate stock levels for dealer demands by forecasting needs.

 

o  Review current stock levels and compare them against anticipated dealer requirements.

o  Meet with dealers to understand their upcoming product demand.

o  Prepare and submit a detailed weekly stock requirement report to the team.

 

4. Material Forecasting & Coordination: Provide forecasts for material and equipment requirements based on dealer needs.

 

  • Analyze previous sales data and forecast demand based on market trends and dealer feedback.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain and production team to ensure material availability.
  • Submit weekly material forecasts to ensure timely procurement.

 

5. Market Challenges Report: Monitor and report on market dynamics affecting sales.

 

  • Regularly track and evaluate the competitive landscape, industry trends, and market conditions.
  • Compile and share insights on customer preferences, product demand, and any challenges faced in the market.
  • Prepare a report summarizing key market challenges and potential solutions.
