Job Title: Sr. Materials Process Development Engineer

Location: Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India


Responsibilities:


  • Expected to lead research effort in thin-film deposition from liquid phase, including materials and interface engineering, chemistry and process optimization, and materials characterization
  • Drive technology transfer from lab to production-worthy process technology
  • Manage lab operations and safety
  • Mentor and supervise process team in literature survey, experimentation and analysis
  • Align and work with Technology Innovation team and develop processes accordingly


Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Engineering/ Material Science, & related to either Electrochemistry or polymer synthesis
  • 5+ years' experience in materials & process technology development, mainly in chemistry optimization, substrate adhesion promotion, materials testing and failure analysis, etc.
  • Experience in handling wet chemistries, in performing beaker & lab scale testing, etc.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong communication, technical and presentation skills
  • Able to travel as needed
