Job Title: Android Middleware Engineer – AutomotiveExperience: 3 to 8 YearsLocation: Bangalore, ChennaiKey Responsibilities:Develop and enhance Android middleware components and services.Work on AOSP, HAL, JNI, and Android framework layers.Implement Android services, AIDL, and optimize system performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Platform, Hardware, UI) to integrate Android modules.Debug, analyze logs, and resolve issues using tools like GDB and logcat.Participate in feature definition, system integration, and validation testing.Required Skills & Expertise:Strong programming skills in Java, C, and C++.Hands-on experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) or Android IoT platforms.Proficiency in JNI, Android SDK, Camera2 / CameraX APIs, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS.Good knowledge of OOPS concepts, threading, and performance tuning.Familiarity with Yocto / Linux build systems and debugging tools (GDB, CMake).Experience in Automotive Infotainment, RTOS, or Embedded Linux environments.Version control using Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
