The Sr. Pattern Maker will work closely with design and production teams to develop and finalize garment patterns that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. Key responsibilities include drafting and modifying patterns, conducting fittings, collaborating with designers to ensure quality and accuracy, and maintaining precise technical specifications for production. In addition, the candidate will oversee pattern adjustments for optimal fit and ensure materials are effectively utilized to minimize waste.QualificationsProficiency in pattern drafting, cutting, and grading techniquesExpertise in lingerie, swimwear, and activewear construction and fit requirementsStrong understanding of fabric properties and how they impact garment design and fitExperience with computer-aided design (CAD) software for pattern makingAttention to detail and technical accuracy in creating and reviewing patternsEffective communication skills for collaborating with designers, seamstresses, and production teamsProven experience in quality control and problem-solving during productionA minimum of 1 years of experience in pattern making, preferably in lingerie, swimwear, or activewearFormal training or certification in pattern making and garment construction is preferred
