Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Development: Oversee and develop a team responsible for the technical support of platforms and infrastructure, focusing on their growth and skill enhancement.
  • System Optimization: Ensure continuous system optimization and maintenance through proactive strategy implementation, maintaining high standards of service internationally.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate closely with infrastructure and engineering departments to ensure seamless integration of support strategies with system architecture.
  • Incident Response: Lead incident response and process optimization efforts to minimize downtime and maximize user satisfaction across different regions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in system monitoring, problem resolution, and preventive maintenance. Focus on the automation and orchestration of services using tools such as SaltStack, Uyuni, Ansible, BI, AI, and CI/CD.
  • BI & AI Integration: Utilize BI and AI tools to enhance system monitoring, performance analysis, and predictive maintenance.
  • CI/CD Implementation: Oversee the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment processes and reduce time to market.

Requirements:

  • Technical Leadership: Proven experience leading technical support teams in high-availability environments.
  • Linux and Containers: Deep knowledge in Linux system administration, containerization, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming and scripting experience with Bash, Perl, PHP, and SQL.
  • Automation Expertise: Demonstrated ability to automate platforms and orchestrate services using tools like SaltStack, Uyuni, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Experience: 10+ years’ experience with at least 4 years of experience in a leadership role within a system engineering or IT support context.
  • ITIL Knowledge: Knowledge of ITIL practices with a strong understanding of their contribution to effective IT service management and customer satisfaction globally.
