Estimation Engineer

Key ResponsibilityPrepare detailed cost estimates for machine components and fabricated items.Analyze technical drawings and specifications for accurate estimation.Perform reverse engineering for existing components and assemblies.Develop project cost estimation and budgeting plans.Implement cost optimization strategies without compromising quality.Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budgets.Coordinate with vendors for quotations and negotiate pricing.Select appropriate materials and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).Understand manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and assembly.Utilize CAD tools for estimation and interpretation of engineering drawings.Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects.Required Qualifications & Skills:Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.5–8 years of experience in estimation within pharma engineering or capital equipment industry.Strong knowledge of reverse engineering and manufacturing processes.Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office tools.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
