Responsibilities:

  1. Developing Computational Solutions: Utilize computational design tools and techniques, particularly Dynamo in Revit and Python scripting, to automate design processes, optimize workflows, and improve efficiency in electrical, ICT, and telecom engineering projects.
  2. Integration with Building Information Modeling (BIM): Collaborate with BIM teams to integrate computational solutions seamlessly into BIM workflows, ensuring accurate representation and coordination of electrical, ICT, and telecom systems within building designs.
  3. Parametric Design Development: Create parametric models and scripts to facilitate iterative design exploration, enabling rapid prototyping and optimization of design solutions to meet project requirements.
  4. Performance Analysis: Conduct performance analysis using computational methods to evaluate the efficiency, sustainability, and functionality of electrical, ICT, and telecom systems within building designs, and provide insights for optimization.
  5. Custom Tool Development: Design and develop custom computational tools, plugins, or scripts tailored to specific project needs.
  6. Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and consultants to address complex design challenges, offering computational insights and solutions that align with project objectives.
  7. Technical Documentation: Document computational workflows, methodologies, and tools developed for projects, ensuring clarity, reproducibility, and transferability of knowledge within the team.
  8. Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay updated with advancements in computational design, BIM technologies, and relevant industry standards, actively seeking opportunities to incorporate new methodologies and tools into practice to drive innovation.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecom Engineering, or related field.
  2. 3 to 7 years of professional experience in computational design, preferably within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
  3. Proficiency in computational design tools such as Dynamo in Revit, Grasshopper, and scripting languages such as Python.
  4. Strong understanding of electrical, ICT, and telecom engineering principles, with the ability to translate them into computational solutions.
  5. Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) and familiarity with interoperability between computational tools and BIM software.


Soft Skills:

  1. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex design challenges and develop innovative computational solutions.
  2. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  3. Demonstrated passion for continuous learning, innovation, and staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in computational design and engineering.
