Job Description:

The successful candidate will be offered relocation assistance to Mumbai if not already located in the Mumbai area.

Role Description:

- Interpret architectural designs related to the construction of building facades, roof lights, and fenestration. Utilize drawings and other relevant information to understand and apply design and architectural requirements effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

- Generate precise working drawings and designs following the specifications provided by clients and any amendments agreed upon during the pre-order phase.

- Oversee and manage the distribution of drawings and design information, ensuring compliance with standard processes and procedures by other designers and trainee designers.

- Create detailed flashing schedules, procurement schedules, and cutting lists timely for internal reviews, adherence to checking procedures, and alignment with manufacturer’s delivery timelines.

- Participate actively in handover meetings to discuss project details, pinpoint critical design areas, and clarify the scope of works.

- Maintain a comprehensive contract file in accordance with established design procedures.

- Keep accurate daily records of contract activities for weekly timesheet reporting.

- Support the Team Leader and Design Manager, assisting all team members as needed.

- Take on additional specific duties as assigned by the employer as necessary.


Candidate Profile:

- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to interpret and execute architectural drawings and designs.

- Proven experience in facade design and an understanding of related manufacturing processes.

- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with various teams and managing information flow within design teams.


Language Proficiency:

- Proficiency in technical English is essential to ensure effective communication and understanding of complex project specifications and documentation.


Additional Responsibilities:

The employer may assign additional specific tasks as deemed necessary.


Other Notes:

A portfolio submission will be required early in the interview process.
