Quality Assurance Lead

Position Summary:

We are seeking highly accomplished QA Lead who can be the part of the GEDU IT Engineering Team at GEDU Noida. The person should preferably have worked as QA Engineer in any Software Product development organization and has experience in Testing/QA and delivering scalable Web/Mobile/SaaS/Cloud Products in agile methodology. As a Quality assurance Lead would help GEDU IT team(s) establish their quality regulations for products and employees. You would help develop and maintain a company's quality standards and design, implement, and improve a company's current quality standards. You should be able work on manual and automated testing. Also identify the scope of automation and build the test suite for Integration, regression, and other testing. You should have hands-on experience in load and performance testing by using the standard tools like LoadRunner and JMeter etc.

The right candidate should be passionate about user experience, digital customer journey, software and technology product development, excellent communicator, comfortable with ambiguous environments, and can move fast, bring people and technology together.

He/she can work with multiple Agile SCRUM teams as QA expert. Responsible for co-developing the vision and strategy of the product by collaborating with Product Managers, product owners, Engineering, Architects, R&D leadership. He/she develops and communicates the strategic direction for the software teams. He/she collaborates with user experience team to define intuitive user experience to our users. He/she collaborates with R&D stakeholders to define the non-functional roadmap for the product.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing, implementing, and Leading processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
• Identifying and setting appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
• Identifying and analyse issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
• Communicating quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
• Coordinating product testing processes.
• Participating in product testing.
• Identify the scope of test cases automation and automate these test cases for delivering quality product.
• Identify the suitable metrics for the Testing of the product and periodically share/review these metrics with the stakeholders.
• Ensuring the team has strong knowledge of requirements/features.
• Leading and motivating a team to execute priorities and provide new ideas and solutions.
• Leading multiple complex projects to deliver detailed releases, improve production quality, and meet business objectives.
• Implementing new tools and processes to meet business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Require prior experience in manual (functional, regression, sanity, integration) and automation (Selenium/Appium/API) testing
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Automation and Manual Testing
• 2+ years of experience in Automation, Selenium and Java
• Should have experience using any framework like - Cucumber / BDD / Any other
• Should have experience using any framework like Rest Assured
• Analyzing requirements/PRD and creating test cases
• Should be well versed in sanity, functional, re-testing, integration and regression testing
• Experience in Web, mWeb, mobile application testing
• Experience in API (Web Services) testing
• Experience in writing SQL queries and exposure to MS SQL/ MySQL DB
• Should be well versed in defect life cycle and have hands-on experience in Jira
• Working experience in Linux
• Understands aspects of Agile methodology
• Experience in Selenium Web Driver/Appium
• Experience in API automation using Rest Assured
• Experience in Programming language preferably .Net
• Having good analytical, problem solving, communication skills and good team player
• Experience in Visual Studio, Microsoft Azure Devops, Agile Boards and NUnit etc.
• Experience in scripting with any of the languages like shell, python, perl, ruby
• Experience in using JMeter and Loadrunner
