Position Title: Snowflake Developer

Location: Bangalore, India

Budget: Up to 15 LPA

Experience Required: 5+ years (4+ years of relevant backend development experience)

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days


About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Developer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development with expertise in Snowflake. This role involves database design, optimization, and administration, along with collaboration on data analysis and documentation.


Key Responsibilities:

♦ Backend Development: Develop backend solutions with a focus on Snowflake.

♦ Database Management: Design, optimize, and administer databases using Snowflake.

♦ Data Warehousing: Apply knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, and star and snowflake schemas.

♦ Cloud Integration: Work with cloud platforms and services like AWS and Azure, specifically their data-related offerings such as S3.

♦ Version Control: Manage code using version control systems, particularly Git.

♦ User Collaboration: Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, perform data analysis, and create data mappings.

♦ Data Modeling: Utilize data modeling concepts and Snowflake’s tools, and work with ETL/ELT tools.

♦ Agile Practices: Engage in Agile solution development processes.


Required Skills and Experience:

♦ Snowflake Expertise: Proven expertise in Snowflake.

♦ Database Design: Strong knowledge in database design, optimization, and administration.

♦ Data Warehousing: Understanding of data warehousing concepts.

♦ Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and their data-related services.

♦ Version Control: Proficiency in Git.

♦ Collaboration: Experience in collaborating with business users for data-related requirements.

♦ Data Modeling: Understanding of data modeling concepts and familiarity with ETL/ELT tools.

♦ Agile Development: Experience with Agile solution development.


Preferred Qualifications:

♦ Data Modeling: Knowledge of dimensional modeling, star, and snowflake schemas.

♦ Cloud Services: Experience with AWS and Azure data-related services.

♦ ETL/ELT Tools: Proficiency in one of the ETL/ELT tools.
