Designation - Innovation Manager

Experience - 7 to 10 years


Glimpse of JD:


• Execute the IT innovation strategy and roadmap, aligned with the organization's vision, mission, and goals.

• Identify new innovation projects and initiatives, based on the needs and expectations of IT, business and external stakeholders.

• Coordinate and collaborate with other IT managers and teams, as well as business units and functions, to ensure the design, implementation, integration and alignment of IT innovation solutions with existing and planned IT systems and processes.

• Monitor and report on the progress, outcomes, and impacts of IT innovation projects and initiatives, using appropriate metrics and indicators.

• Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry, and assess their feasibility, suitability, and potential benefits for the organization.

• Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, such as vendors, consultants, research institutions, and industry associations, to leverage their expertise and resources for IT innovation.

• Promote and advocate for IT innovation within the organization and communicate the value and benefits of IT innovation to internal and external audiences.

• Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and learning within the IT department and across the organization, and encourage the generation and sharing of innovative ideas and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.

• At least five years of experience in IT management, preferably in an innovation-related role.

• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in IT innovation methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as design thinking, agile, lean, prototyping, testing, and scaling.

• At least three years of experience in AI, ML and/or IoT technology implementation.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex and technical information to diverse audiences.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate and select the best IT innovation solutions for the organization.

• Highly creative, curious, and innovative, with a passion for exploring, experimenting and learning new technologies and ideas.

• Flexible, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to cope with ambiguity and change in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Be open to travel to PGP plants (twice a week) during scoping, design, implementation and adoption of new solutions.
