Job Description:

We are seeking an innovative and strategic leader to fill the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This position requires a unique blend of skills encompassing both the responsibilities of a Chief Information Officer (CIO) and a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving technological innovation, digital transformation, and information management strategies within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Technology Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives. This includes overseeing the selection, implementation, and optimization of technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.
  2. Information Management: Lead efforts to manage and leverage data as a strategic asset. Implement robust data governance frameworks, ensure data security and compliance, and drive initiatives to harness data insights for informed decision-making.
  3. Digital Transformation: Champion digital transformation initiatives across the organization, leveraging emerging technologies to create innovative products, services, and customer experiences. Drive agility and adaptability by fostering a culture of continuous innovation.
  4. Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and secure IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity measures. Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of critical systems and applications.
  5. Technology Partnerships: Cultivate strategic partnerships with technology vendors, startups, and research institutions to stay abreast of industry trends, identify opportunities for collaboration, and access cutting-edge technologies that drive competitive advantage.
  6. Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Provide strategic direction, coaching, and professional development opportunities to enable team members to reach their full potential.
  7. Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate technology-related risks, including cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and compliance issues. Develop and implement robust contingency plans to ensure business continuity in the face of disruptions.
  8. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with executive leadership, business units, and other stakeholders to understand their technology needs, priorities, and challenges. Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership on technology-related matters.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred.
  2. Proven experience in senior leadership roles encompassing both CIO and CTO responsibilities, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  3. Deep expertise in technology strategy development, digital transformation, and information management, with a track record of driving successful initiatives that deliver tangible business value.
  4. Strong technical acumen across a broad range of technologies, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and enterprise systems.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  6. Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a keen understanding of how technology can drive business growth and competitive advantage.
  7. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering outcomes that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
