Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Node.js Developer. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js. Your expertise will be crucial in building efficient, scalable, and high-performance applications that meet our clients' needs.


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop server-side logic using Node.js and frameworks like Express.js.
  2. Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between server and client applications.
  3. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  4. Optimize application performance by implementing best practices and monitoring tools.
  5. Ensure the security and reliability of server-side applications by implementing proper authentication and data validation techniques.
  6. Debug and troubleshoot issues reported by users or QA team to ensure smooth operation of the applications.
  7. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Node.js development and recommend improvements to enhance our development process.
  8. Must be proficient in handling complex JSON data formatting and manipulation.
  9. Work closely with DevOps team to deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines.


Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role.
  3. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and asynchronous programming concepts.
  4. Experience with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  5. Experience with version control systems like Git.
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  9. Certification in Node.js development or related technologies is a plus.
